It is not very often in this crowded microcosm that we call the tech blogosphere that we as individual bloggers get to help someone starting out in this crowded field. After all they have so much going against them these days what with the tech blogosphere being predominated by more and more by big media blog networks; and then there is having to fight their way up through the ranks in order to get any recognition at all.

So it is a good feeling - ya even cranky old farts can get them to - when we; either individually or as a small groups are able to do something that helps a true aspiring blogger with talent start up that ladder to popularity. Such is the case with a lady blogger known as Corvida who pretty well burst onto the scene not even a month or so ago.

Corvida didn’t waltz into the room with a know it all attitude - if anything it was one of I want to learn everything I can to make sure I do this right kind of attitude. Sure there are time where her exuberance can be a little overwhelming but that is usually because this cranky old fart hasn’t made it through his first pot of coffee. It is even rarer that a new comer will take the time to publicly acknowledge those that have helped them through the learning cure but it is safe to say that Corvida isn’t one of these.

She is more than willing to let anyone who will listen that her growth an inevitable success is because of those people who have helped her and to that end she created a badge based on a saying that is exclusively her’s - Awesomesauce Award.

This is a badge that I will gladly display all the time and as soon as I can find the right place in the sidebar that is where it will stay. So if you haven’t dropped by her site or checked out her Twitter feed and FriendFeed page I suggest you do because she is going to be one of the good bloggers out there.
