Between our monthly visit to the doctor and it being April Fools Day things have been pretty quiet around the ol’ WinExtra homestead. I think I have most of the finishing touches to the new theme used here all done and looking forward to seeing if I can do up a nice theme for a friend but in the meantime here’s some of the things that caught my eye in from today’s FriendFeed pipeline.

FriendFeed Show Domains :: FriendFeed Apps - aviv has released a new Greasemonkey script that will display the actual domain of the linked post on FriendFeed.

What Is Going On At Mahalo? :: profy - Michael Garret has some interesting questions about Mr. Calacanis’ Mahalo project.

Microsoft’s $1 Million Guarantee Program To Win Searchers :: Search Engine Land - Danny Sullivan reports on a new initiative Microsoft is suppose to be trying out to get folks to start using the Live Web Services - he also expresses some doubts about the program as well.

Pirate Bay on IFPI lawsuit: Labels can "go screw themselves" :: Ars Technica - Nate Anderson reports on Pirate Bay’s reaction to the lawsuits that are headed their way.

Has Microsoft lost its way on desktop computing? :: The Apple Core - considering the source of the article I think we can pretty well image what the conclusions of Jason O’Grady and David Morgenstern will be.
