From the Pipeline - 3.21.08

Ah long weekends aren’t they wonderful even if some of the posting subjects get such traction regardless of how bland or silly they might be. Although I will say we appear to have missed out on any good bitchmeme to carry us over  this long weekend. In the meantime here’s some things that caught my attention in today’s FriendFeed pipeline.

We Don’t Need Affirmative Action in Blogging :: Phat Mommy - Shannon expresses her thoughts on this whole women in technology slash blogging thing. Like her I think it would be nice to be remembered for what was contributed not what the gender of the contributor was.

The Friend Feed Effect :: My Philly Network - Solacetech likes how FriendFeed help makes him(/her) a part of the conversation.

There. Everwhere. But Here. :: CenterNetworks - Alan doesn’t appear to like the fact that services like Twitter and FriendFeed are taking the conversation away from the blogs.

Do you have to be in every conversation? :: Between The Lines - Larry has a few questions as to why we need to be using all these services like twitter and FriendFeed in the first place

Information overload and the echo chamber :: The Last Podcast - Frederic is beginning to feel the effects of information overload and wonders on how best to handle it.

Ten Things I’d Like FriendFeed To Do :: Fred Wilson - Fred is a fan of FriendFeed and in his typical helpful fashion has a few ideas for them to consider for the service.
