Well it’s been an interesting day. I stumbled across a new lay-out for the Wordpress Theme Viewer that not every-one could apparently see, got informed by Louis in an email that I was number 68 (now 69) on the Techmeme Leaderboard which is kinda cool considering that is not something I check - thanks Louis. Not bad for a cranky old fart I guess being mixed in with all those hob-nobbers of the high blogging mucky mucks.
Unfortunately though the head cold that was teasing me yesterday has decided to truly make my life miserable today and I don’t think it’ll be any nicer tomorrow. In the meantime though here’s some stuff that caught my eye in my FriendFeed pipeline today
10 Largest Data Breaches Since 2000 - Millions Affected :: Flowing Data - and we want to move more and more of our lives online - are we freaking nuts or what.
TechCrunch Hits New Lows - Editing My Comments :: Howard Lindzon - hate to break it to ya Howard but this is a common practice - or at least in my experience it has been - at TechCrunch when some-one either tries to comment or trackback with a less than complimentary attitude.
Pumpkin Duncan Riley Demeans Women :: SheGeeks - man all I can say on this one is You go Corvida - you go
Duncan Riley - You should take a break :: Living Life - AJ passes along some hopefully helpful advise to Duncan who might need it after Corvida is done.
Elitism on Twitter :: Flip Bits Not Burgers - Andrew let’s loose with a bit of plain talk that I bet if some-one else higher up the list had posted it would have lit up the blogosphere for another week - which is too bad because while his target in the post may not be the right one the idea could be.
