Being a Monday is bad enough but throw in a three hour trip (1 1/2hr each way) for our monthly doctor trip and trying to get back into the groove of doing anything can sometimes just be harder than it would seem. That said I managed to get caught up with the resulting backlog of feeds to read and snag some stuff from my FriendFeed stream. So without any further chit chat here ya go - today’s pipeline:
How much aggregation is too much aggregation? :: The Last Podcast - You would almost think from reading this post by Frederic that he had dipped his toe into the dark side of crankiness. Come on in bud it’s not all that dark over here.
Valleywag Investigates What’s On Kevin Rose’s Desk :: Laughing Squid - not that Mr. Rose’s desk contents have been of much interest around here; I have a hard enough time just finding my own, it would seems that Mr. Denton slip on his Enquirer hat and grabbed a snapshot of Kevin’s desk - hey I’m entitled to a fluff piece once in awhile.
When Will We Have Our First Valleywag Suicide? :: TechCrunch - Sorry Michael but this was a totally senseless post that would be more suited to the fear mongering MSM show Dateline. Maybe next time close up the laptop before swallowing those Ambien’s.
Free 2GB USB Bracelet from Microsoft :: O’Flaherty Blog - found this heads up about a free 2GB USB bracelet drive being given away by Microsoft and Novell. Joy of Joy’s as well .. it doesn’t seem to be an offer restricted to just the US so grab the link from Paul’s blog and grab yourself one before the supply runs dry.
Son of 10 More Tiny FeedDemon Tips :: Nick Bradbury - Part 2 of Nick’s tip sheet for FeedDemon users. Some-one should really collect all these up in one spot. Thanks Nick.
Am I a Journalist or Blogger? :: Mark Glaser - and yet another journalist angst piece on whether he is a journalist/blogger or a blogger/journalist. This is getting really old folks - here’s the simple answer - if you are posting to a blog you are a blogger with some bad journalistic habits to unlearn. If you post to print media then you’re a journalist who is either cursing bloggers or wishing you could be one.
