It is not very often that I get really excited about having a chance to be involved with beta testing something but when I saw Adam’s message on Twitter I’ve never clicked a link so fast.
It turns out that Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company is inviting 10,000 bloggers to partake in a beta test of one of it’s blends of coffee (announced on Mashable!). Talk about hitting a blogger where they live - what a brilliant marketing campaign - kudos to whoever dream this one up. Needless to say I signed up as quick as my fingers could type and now the waiting beings to see if I get accepted [fingers crossed - hell crossing anything that can be crossed].
However there is one downside to my experience with the Joffrey’s site and it occurred when I decided to register as a member. The URL for their create account page is barfed. I was able to get to the actual account page by inserting the missing backslash in the URL but it still barfed when I clicked on the submit button. I would have emailed them about it but I couldn’t easily find a contact address. It is easier to blog about it and hope they see the post - please fix the problem Joffrey’s because I do want to create an account.
BTW the reason I want to create that account - simple - they accept PayPal for purchases which for me is a deal cincher.
