Why should the choice in software dictate whether or not you can use a service and that is <b>exactly</b> what this is. Just because it has a software <i>frontend</i> doesn't change that fact. the fact that the web interface won't let you browse the store because you don't have the software installed only enforces the locked down atitude that people have of Apple - just another variation of a DRM.<br><br>As for the iTunes card .. neat idea except the last time that I installed iTunes - specifically to see if they supported PayPal as a payment option I couldn't get past the account setup part because I didn't have a credit card and nowhere was there a place to input a iTunes card. <br><br>but I tell you what .. just so I'm not looking like I'm talking out my ass I'll download iTunes <b>once</b> more and verify that. I would love for someone to give me one. However, I don't think I'd ever buy one because I don't have the money to throw around. The people who I see buying it are the kind of people who 1) aren't students and 2)have extra money.
