Well another year kicked to the curb (thank gawd) and another one full of promise (fingers crossed) ready to get going. Not to mention that now that we have gotten these holidays out of the way we can get back to the serious work of reporting on tech.
As it is you can tell we are stuck in the holiday doldrums when the only thing we can do is rehash old lists with new dates or talk about how bloggers are getting paid - well some anyway. Here’s looking forward to getting up in the morning and having something worthwhile to sink one’s teeth into - hopefully anyway.
"You Don’t Understand Our Audience" :: John Hockenbury - this guy should blog because if it was anything like this piece on journalism on Technology Review he’d have a hellva following.
Pay for traffic: Incentive or distortion? :: Mathew Ingram - while it might be on the topic of the day Mathew give us opinion of the whole thing.
Can Pay-For-Performance Improve The Quality Of Content On The Web? :: Scott Karp - and of course any discussion on blogging, journalism and the worth of each wouldn’t be complete without Scott Karp’s opinion.
Bring Something New to the Blog Table, Please :: Lorelle VanFossen - an excellent piece on what bloggers need to bring to the ’sphere in order to remain relevant.
Listening to: Dream Theater - Dark Side Of The Moon (Official Bootleg) - Echoes Pt. 1
