I'm in the process of trying to get all of my work into a browser window, simply due to the fact that at work I need to run Firefox, Outlook, Notepad++, Pidgin, and a couple of other apps that will eventually be web based, and my machine just slows down towards the end of the day.

While Firefox is admittedly a pig when it comes to grabbing RAM, I'm hoping that if it's the only app that I'm running throughout the day, it won't be as bad as it is now, so that's why I wind up turning to Google Docs for my notetaking. Only problem is that it's not as easily searchable with Google Desktop (?!) so I'm willing to forgo a little comfort to get convenience and better performance.

I kinda surprised myself as well Papa :) but I think the thing that got me was the simple and usable elegant UI which for me answers a long held believe that there is a marketplace for this type of approach for supposedly complicated programs like wordprocessors.

That said I'll take your review request into consideration but I will say right off the bat that I don't trust Google further than I can spit into a headwind so that might make it a tad hard to be objective :) regarding their wares.

I believe I understand you aversion to storing documents on other people's servers - very understandable. So I was surprised that you would even consider reviewing Buzzword. All that aside, I would really like to hear your views on some of the other Web 2.0 word processors. Have you tried Google's offerings?
Peace
