As some of my regular readers may have noticed (and thanks to all 5 or 6 of you ) yesterday was devoid of any posts. Well yesterday was our monthly trek for my wife and mine trip to our doctor which entails a an hour drive each way. This is because contrary to popular believe about the Canadian medical system doctors are not an abundant resource especially in small towns like ours.

In fact we have a shortage of doctors willing to work in smaller towns and in a lot of cases they are of questionable quality. We almost reported our previous doctor to the Ontario Physicians College because of how he treated patients.Along with our normal visits I also had to go an see a new heart specialist to see if we can find out what is causing my problems. The end result of that is that I will be having to make an almost 2hr trip each way in order to have another series of tests done because it is the closest place capable of doing them.

So needless to say I was a little worn out after all that and wasn’t in the mood to deal with my daily blogging routine. At this point I am just getting back into the swing but writing ambition is a little on the low side. However I will be taking some time hopefully later today to announce the winner of our WindowBlinds contest. In the meantime though I am trying to get caught up with my feeds and then maybe a little rest period.Hopefully posting shall resume later this evening but if not I will be back in full form tomorrow.
