WinExtra Site News One of the tricks about running any business is to know what one’s limitations are and then try and find a person well suited to compensate and compliment those weakness’. Now while I might have tendencies of perfectionism the one area I have little patience for is the writing of posts that require a lot of attention to details especially when it comes to things like good solid plain English software reviews.

This is one area that I have always wanted to have as a feature here at WinExtra but because of my above mentioned weakness this is something that always got postponed. Well no longer because I am pleased to announce that a long time WinExtra Forums member Bill Vincent will be joining me as part of the writing staff here. His main responsibility will be providing software reviews of programs for all levels of computer users and since he shares the same sense of humor and crankiness the reviews should be fun as well as informative.

In the beginning there will be no real posting timetable for the reviews but I imagine as Bill gets his feet wet with this blogging thing they will increase in publication. Along with that if Bill feels the call; or thinks the program could use it, he will also be posting tutorials for using the program. These will be published in the tutorial section of our forums with links to it provided in the review.

I am really looking forward to this new addition to the WinExtra blog and I am very thankful that bill has offered to step forward and take on the project. If everything goes well we should see the first of the reviews show up by sometime next week; or maybe sooner.

Thanks Bill and welcome to the writing side of the blogging game :)

BTW: don’t forget about the WinExtra contest to win a copy of Stardock’s newest version of WindowBlinds
