Update: Robert it appears has now posted a strong denial of the story on his blog calling the whole thing a bunch of bullshit

Rumors are flying about the possible closure of PodTech which is better known for being the current home of A-List blogger Robert Scoble and his equally famous as exciting as watching paint dry videoblogging.However while there is supposed to be an announcement coming from PodTech itself nothing has been heard from Robert himself regarding the rumors - which could speak louder than words about the truthfulness behind said rumors.

 

The thing that gets me that this is the man who has proclaim openness and transparency above all else - especially when it comes to companies dealing with the public and with bloggers. Yet we aren’t hearing any denials or acknowledgements concerning the future of PodTech and his future as well. This could easily come across as a double standard that could end up hurting Robert on any road forward.

If the rumors are true it would really suck to be in his position what with having a new baby in the family and all the responsibility that entails. It also leads to another question - what is Robert going to do next?

Maybe Microsoft will take him back.
