According to Mary Jo Foley the number of sold copies of Vista is suppose to be around the 60 million mark and to celebrate this earth shattering event word has come out about a Microsoft site that has been around since January - 100 Reasons Why Everyone’s So Speechless.
Ya .. okay .. so the millions of dollars spent on a stupid WOW campaign has officially been flushed down the toilet and we are left with a mind numbing list of a 100 reasons why we should be letting our jaw drop - but speechless … I don’t think so.
In fact the dissatisfaction over Vista has been like a rumbling beast gaining strength as people wait not so patiently for Service Pack 1 or are switching back to XP and in rare cases where it can be done are ditching the Microsoft world altogether; much to the delight of Apple and to a lesser degree Linux.
While Ed Bott would “… have the team behind this campaign sentenced to six months of focus groups” I would go even further and have Ballmer explain why they let a product go to market with as many core flaws as Vista is turning out to have.
Or we could always have a site for 100 reasons why Vista is BORING as shit and is pissing me off.
Dot Com that Microsoft.
