Your common sense is refreshing. Maybe it's because I write on education, a topic so varied and contentious that I seldom come away from an article satisfied, but I'm not used to reading/hearing something and agreeing in full.

Your comments were right on about Winer's inappropriate use of an emotional appeal - especially the particular one he used and that the situation didn't warrant it at all. Shameful.</description>
