dgfdjhjhk - the sound of my head hitting the keyboard

Which make as much damn sense as a website called Kijiji - or as Jason from webomatica said in a comment to my previous post - “which is basically the website my cat goes to when he steps on the keyboard“. The point being that this mishmash of letters is the name that eBay has hung like an albatross around the neck of their foray into the land of Craigslist of free classified ads.
Now I’m not so much against another entrant into the classified ads arena but come on couldn’t you have given us a name we could actually pronounce without having to wrap our tongues around a hot poker. It is getting to the point with this trend of funky stupid Web 2.0 names that I’m beginning to feel more like an idiot than anything else which means that I’m almost ready to create a list of stupid ass named site never to go to.
I don’t care if the so-called fancy name means something in a language I have never heard of if you make me feel like an idiot because I can’t pronounce it the greater the chances are I’m not going there.
But then again maybe if I threw in a vowel or two to dgfdjhjhk I might have the next hottest Web 2.0 site on the web .. whadda think?
