I can totally understand the need for UAC (User Access Control) from a security point of view; but damn there had to be a better way to do this.
I have only been using Vista full time for a couple of days now and while in general I have been enjoying it this implementation of UAC sucks rocks.
The eye candy might be getting people in through the door; so to speak, but the current UAC is going to piss people off en masse. I know this has been mentioned ad nauseam in a lot of the more tech blogs looking at Vista; but it is nothing compared to what we are going to hear when Vista reaches a broader average user userbase.
